John comes from an athletic background of youth baseball, cross country, and soccer, the latter being the sport that really kept his attention over the years. Playing soccer led him to training, working out, and developing nutrition and health principles. As time has passed he is still closely tied to the sport itself, but now focuses on teaching these learned lessons for others. Training with John takes into account both your physical and mental health in order to create the best outcomes.
Over 4 years of training experience, John has coached athletes and everyday gym-goers in individual, small-group, and large-group settings. John helps these people improve their strength, build muscle, lose weight, open mobility, and more. Bringing an athletic approach backed by foundational training science, this training approach will do much more than just change how you look. This training will also help you feel more confident and able within your own body.
John’s specialty is within the field of biomechanics, otherwise known as movement science. Having an experienced coach’s eye on you during exercise reveals things that may not be discovered individually. John will ensure lifts are being performed correctly not only for safety but also for maximum efficiency. Getting the most out of your time in the gym is a primary goal of training with John.
