Tara’s Client Testimonials
When my chiropractor mentioned I would need support to recover physical strength and flexiblity, he highly recommended, Tara Weaver. Over a three year period I went from sitting on a couch in serious back pain to extensive workouts and traveling. Tara is a personal trainer who can train other trainers. If you need the best personal training, Tara is the real thing.
Tara Weaver is an amazing personal trainer. She’s changed my life in ways that I never expected or imagined. Yes, I’m stronger, my cardio has improved and I am more flexible. But the big surprise is that I have begun to move my body with a deeper understanding of how the parts work most efficiently and effectively in harmony. I have learned which muscles to activate and why. I’ve learned how to compensate for injuries. I often joke that Tara’s workout is really all about retraining the brain. And having fun. Did I mention how much we laugh while swinging kettle-bells and doing push-ups?
I love the way Tara targets the workout to me, always knowing what I can and can’t handle! I also know that if I am having pain, she will be able to modify my workout, while still giving me the toughness I need. My pain has decreased significantly since I began with Tara in 2018. I feel strong and able again!
I have been working on and off with Tara for years and I think she is amazing. She gets you doing things you think you couldn’t do, and focuses like a laser on form and posture. I highly recommend her.
I have been working with Tara for eight years and she has changed my life.
First of all, she is incredibly knowledgeable about what she does. She goes to workshops, gets certifications. She is always learning new techniques and sharing them with her trainees.
Secondly, she truly listens to you and pays close attention to what is happening with your body. She is there for you and has your improvement and well being topmost on her mind. She keeps meticulous records of where you are and where you are going in your regimen.
Thirdly, she has a wonderful demeanor- simultaneously very driven and laid back. She is extremely patient and kind. She wants you to enjoy what you are doing and learn how your body works. But she also knows she is there to make sure you do the work to get the most out of your workout.
It has been a great pleasure to work with her these many years and I am very thankful we connected. I can’t say enough good things about her. I don’t want to imagine her not in my corner.
Tara weaver is the best strength and conditioning coach, period. She met me when I was recovering from a full ACL tear and physical therapy was not going smoothly. She brought from being a low level amateur Mixed Martial Artist, coming off a loss and an ACL tear, to the amateur champion of New England in two weight classes, to now an undefeated professional fighter. I owe her my life!
She’s the best trainer out there. Can’t recommend her enough. There’s a lot of strength and conditioning coaches out there. A lot of BS and people who just regurgitate exercises and fitness jargon without any real passion or wisdom. There’s a lot to search through. There’s only a handful who know what they’re doing and have actually applied it. There’s a lot of trainers who are famous, well proven and have successful clients. Tara in my opinion stands above them alone at the top. Tara’s knowledge of the body is incredibly well versed. She has more certifications and qualifications than there is sand in a beach. Tara is a passionate, wise, and incredibly intelligent trainer. If I hadn’t met Tara, I would not be the athlete I am today.
