I started working out with Jess in early 2016 in an effort to get back into shape after a few years of actively avoiding the gym. A few colleagues from work mentioned that they took BootcampX and that the class was really tough but the instructor, Jess, was really great. They were right on both accounts and I can still recall how good I felt after having been away from exercise for such a long time. I made a decision after that class to sign up for personal training sessions with Jess because I knew she would keep me motivated, challenged and more importantly accountable. It’s been over a year and a half and I still regularly work out with Jess because each session feels uniquely tailored to fit my current level of fitness, my personal fitness goals and my physical limitations. Her background in competitive sports is evident as she comes to each session with a well-organized plan so that the client gets the most out of each work out.”
Beyond being a talented trainer and instructor, Jess brings a lot of her own energy and enthusiasm to her classes making working out fun. Okay, perhaps not fun but funner.
A few things you should know about Jess before you take one of her classes:
1. Be prepared to hear the word “yay!”. A lot.
2. Be prepared to sweat (but not as much as Jess).
3. Be prepared to get to class early to get a good spot.
4. Be prepared to feel sore (but good) the next day. And the day after that.
5. Be prepared to get hooked.
