Derek started coaching in 2011, teaching group fitness classes and personal training. His expertise is in functional training, performance training, weightlifting and kettlebell training. He also teaches how to improve overall movement using prehab and rehab techniques for those who are recovering from an injury, and to help prevent injuries. He has worked with every age group over the course of his career, helping those individuals achieve their goals. Derek also coaches Strength and Conditioning for numerous sports at the middle school and high school level. These sports include: Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, Gymnastics and Swimming. He has also worked with Football teams and coached individual athletes in the sports of Tennis, Softball, Basketball and Baseball to improve their overall Strength, Speed and Performance.
